Debark Ministries was formed in early 2009 when Doug and Brenda were called by God to minister in churches, campgrounds, nursing homes and anywhere else God calls them. Although both were involved with different types of ministry, God brought them together to form what is now called Debark Ministries.
Doug - After ministering with March Forth for over ten years, God has led Doug in a different direction. He is now traveling as DeBark Ministries throughout the east coast. While the message has remained the same in this pursuit, he has broadened the scope of music to include southern gospel, praise/worship, and progressive gospel. While traveling on a part-time basis with Antietam Gospel Trio out of Maryland, he continues to embark on this solo adventure. He is involved with the Porter Tower Lions Club, a member of the Tower City Revitalization and continues to work fulltime at United Concordia Dental. Email Doug
Brenda - Using her Marketing degrees and advertising skills she handles the scheduling, calls, mailings and everything else including the inspiration for Doug to once again travel singing about God's Love! Brenda is involved with the Lykens Valley Women's Christian Connection as Vice-chair, attends Lykens Valley Bible Church, board member of the Tower City and Northern Dauphin Revitalization Committee and Project and a key member of the Porter Tower Lions Club. Wayne Jones - after traveling for many years with New Life Freedom Singers and then slowing down, Wayne, otherwise known as Deacon, wanted to return to his love of gospel music. Teaming up with Doug to form the duet "Doug & Wayne", he brings his sense of style and humor. Doug and Wayne have been friends for many years, including the picture to the left of Deacon showing off as the Best Man at Brenda and Doug's wedding. Wayne currently resides in Millville, NJ with his wife Beverly. He works in an Adult Challenged Facility and serves as Union President. Email Wayne
